Jorge Dominguez

Jorge is an animal scientist by training and a faculty member of the University of the Philippines Los Baños (UPLB). Prof. Dominguez is active in promoting and developing the local animal genetic resources in order to lessen the dependence of the Philippines from foreign breeding companies. 

He is also interested in strengthening the local/regional food industry by developing specialty meat products using native animals and indigenous crop materials.
